Primary Responsibilities
The Guard Shack maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring KeHE facilities.
- Monday -Friday
- 7:00PM -3:00PM
Essential Functions
- Secures premises and personnel by monitoring access points; permitting entry to employees and preventing the entry of unauthorized people.
- Controls traffic by directing drivers.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Maintains organization''s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- To maintain a log book with details of the names, purpose of visit, and entry and exit times of each and every individual who enters the premises.
- To report all the suspicious acts happening in the premises to the local police.
- To direct vehicles in and around the building and to make sure that all the vehicles are safe, while inside the premises.
- Other duties may be assigned, as needed or warranted, by management.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:
- Prior security experience is preferred
- Takes initiative, detail oriented, and works well independently.
- Good communication skills
- Politeness and courteousness
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts
- Attention to detail
