Grambling State University is seeking to hire a full-time Guard to provide security for personnel, real property and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
No experience or training is required.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
An applicant who has been convicted of a felony or who is under indictment on a felony charge will be disqualified until relief from the disabilities imposed by state and federal laws is granted.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants may be required to possess a current Louisiana drivers license.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties
Patrols campus to monitor and prevent intrusion, damage, hazards and breaches of security.
Provides escort services for visitors, students, staff, faculty, and individuals responsible for transportation of monies to or from university depositories; provides public assistance, first aid, and vehicle jump-starts.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Maintains and improves skills and knowledge by attending training courses/ classes and seminars.
