    Job Overview:
    The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) Enterprise Systems Department department is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team of innovators in driving advancements in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for software development teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps best practices and experience with GitLab, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and other related technologies. This individual will play a key role in modernizing our software development processes and infrastructure to achieve greater automation, scalability, and efficiency.

    Responsibilities and Duties:
    • Collaborate with software development teams to understand current processes and identify areas for CI/CD implementation and improvement.
    • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple software projects.
    • Automate deployment processes to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software updates.
    • Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and scalability.
    • Work with development teams to troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and technology advancements to continuously improve our CI/CD capabilities.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Proven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role
    • Strong understanding of GitLab, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and other relevant tools and technologies
    • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or PowerShell
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, researchers, and faculty.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) a plus.
    • 5 years of relevant working experience.
