    GS PMO Project Coordinator

    The Idaho State Tax Commission (ISTC) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Coordinator to join the Project Management Office team. The role will involve supporting and coordinating high priority ISTC projects focused on system and software updates that meet our strategic goals and legislative requirements.

    Example of Duties:

    • Coordinate and provide support for ISTC projects that are legislatively required, affect multiple divisions, and/or affect our external customers.

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, to drive project success.

    • Track and report on project progress, including important metrics.

    • Direct project correspondence by preparing, reviewing, and facilitating: project proposals, project requirements, meetings and e-mails.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Experience:

    • Planning and implementing projects

    • Developing, promoting and gaining project support

    • Interpreting and explaining specialized or complex material into information usable by multiple stakeholders.

    • Facilitating development of Project Requirements.

    Minimum Qualification Specialties:

    • Experience in Project Management or Tax Administration

    • Experience developing and presenting training to groups

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to prioritize and organize work when dealing with several projects/programs operating in different timelines

    • Ability to work productively with a wide network of individuals

    • Ability to work independently and proactively in furtherance of assigned projects.

    • Understanding of software development process, requirements, and follow-through

    • Smartsheet Software Experience
