About the Role

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to help accelerate Eclectic Herb's continued growth.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and leadership team, you'll combine data, customer insights, and experimentation to improve how customers discover, shop, and engage with our brand. Your work will strengthen the customer experience, increase customer lifetime value, and help build a more scalable business.

You'll lead key initiatives across ecommerce, Amazon, marketplaces, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and analytics. From ecommerce merchandising and solution bundles to customer journey optimization and new growth opportunities, you'll turn insights into action that improves conversion, strengthens customer relationships, and drives commercial performance.

You're equally comfortable working inside ecommerce and marketing platforms while thinking strategically about what to improve next. You'll own high-impact initiatives, prioritize the best opportunities, and collaborate across internal teams and external partners to deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Growth

  • Own the growth of our Shopify business through ecommerce merchandising, product assortment, solution bundles, subscriptions, promotions, landing pages, and continuous optimization of the customer journey.
  • Develop quarterly growth plans, manage the integrated marketing calendar, and prioritize initiatives that improve customer acquisition, conversion, average order value, customer lifetime value, and profitability.
  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to translate annual marketing priorities into measurable growth initiatives, commercial execution plans, and performance goals.

Customer Acquisition

  • Own customer acquisition across digital marketing channels, identifying and optimizing the most effective mix of paid, organic, partnerships, marketplaces, and other acquisition opportunities.
  • Partner with the Head of Marketing and creative partners to test creative, creator content, messaging, and offers that improve acquisition, engagement, and campaign performance.
  • Build and manage a structured experimentation roadmap across audiences, creative, landing pages, offers, and campaigns to continuously improve marketing performance.

Lifecycle Marketing

  • Own email and SMS strategy through campaigns, automated flows, segmentation, personalization, and ongoing optimization.
  • Build customer journeys that increase repeat purchase, subscriptions, customer lifetime value, and long-term customer relationships.
  • Use customer behavior and purchase insights to deliver more relevant education, product recommendations, and customer experiences.

Amazon & Marketplace Growth

  • Own the growth and performance of Eclectic Herb's Amazon business and other marketplace channels, identifying opportunities that improve revenue, discoverability, conversion, and customer experience.
  • Establish priorities, manage investments, measure performance, and determine the most effective execution approach by partnering with internal teams, agency partners, or other external specialists as the business evolves.
  • Continuously improve marketplace merchandising, listings, content, promotions, customer experience, and commercial performance.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Build and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting that provide clear visibility into ecommerce, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, Amazon and marketplace performance, and overall business performance.
  • Monitor customer acquisition, conversion, average order value, customer lifetime value, contribution margin, profitability, and channel performance to identify the highest-impact growth opportunities.
  • Turn customer insights and performance data into prioritized experiments, strategic recommendations, and actionable growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-8+ yearsof hands-on experience in growth marketing, ecommerce, digital commerce, lifecycle marketing, or performance marketing for a consumer brand, preferably in wellness, supplements, natural products, food & beverage, or CPG.
  • Demonstrated experience growing Shopify ecommerce businesses through customer acquisition, conversion optimization, merchandising, and customer retention.
  • Experience leading cross-functional growth initiatives that improve customer acquisition, conversion, customer lifetime value, and overall business performance.
  • Experience growing Amazon and other marketplace channels through direct execution, agency partnerships, or a combination of both.
  • Experience using ecommerce analytics and attribution platforms such as GA4, Triple Whale, or similar tools to guide business decisions.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, AI search, conversion rate optimization (CRO),and ecommerce best practices.
  • Strong commercial judgment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while consistently delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms to improve research, analysis, marketing execution, and productivity.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $95,000-$110,000 annually, depending on experience.
  • Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick leave and employee discount.
  • Portland-based employees work on a hybrid schedule with regular in-office collaboration.
  • This is a full-time, salaried role
