    Sales Manager

    The Group Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business and maximizing hotel revenue through proactive sales efforts, strategic marketing initiatives, client relationship management, and exceptional customer service. This position develops and maintains long-term relationships with corporate, group, leisure, and association clients while identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.

    The Group Sales Manager collaborates closely with hotel leadership and operational departments to ensure seamless execution of group events and exceptional guest experiences. Success in this role requires strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills, along with the ability to consistently meet or exceed established revenue goals.

    Starting salary $74k - $80k depending on experience plus Commission and performance-based incentives  with unlimited earning potential based on achieving budgeted sales goals.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Generate new business and grow existing accounts within assigned markets.

    Execute sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue and profitability goals.

    Respond to all sales inquiries and leads within established timelines.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through sales calls, networking, trade shows, FAM tours, and site visits.

    Conduct professional hotel presentations and property tours.

    Develop long-term partnerships that result in repeat business.

    Collaborate with Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure successful event execution and guest satisfaction.

    Follow all company policies and Food & Beverage approval procedures.

    Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.

    Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

    Represent the hotel professionally at community and industry events.

    Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
