Position Overview
The After-School Group Leader creates a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students during after-school programming and plays a critical role in upholding safety standards to maintain programing. This role plans and facilitates daily activities that support academic growth and social-emotional development, including homework assistance, recreational activities, arts and crafts, and other learning opportunities. Through mentorship, the Group Leader encourages confidence among participants while fostering a welcoming atmosphere, helping students build meaningful skills and relationships that contribute to their overall success. The After-School Group Leader contributes to overall program success, and responsibilities will evolve based on emerging needs, requiring a high degree of flexibility and adaptability. This role reports to the Site Coordinator.
