Salary: $60,000 for Bachelor's (ECE) without NYS certification, $65,000 with Master's (ECE) w/o certifications, $70,000 with certification (birth to 2nd grade), and MASTERS

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment

Supervise and monitor children at all times to ensure health and safety standards are met

Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development

Maintain positive and professional communication with parents, staff, and administration

Complete daily reports, incident reports, attendance records, and required documentation accurately and timely manner

Ensure compliance with DOE-DOH regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies

Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom aides

Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities

Promote teamwork and maintain a positive learning environment

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 60 credits in early childhood education and 2 years teaching experience; OR an Associate Degree in early childhood education, and 6 years teaching experience.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a childcare or daycare setting

Knowledge of child development and classroom management techniques

Strong communication and organizational skills

Requirements

Must meet all DOE-DOH clearance requirements

CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Ability to lift, bend, stand, and actively engage with children throughout the day

Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
