Primary Duties
Group Fitness Instructors will be responsible for leading multiple group fitness classes that range in variety and levels. This includes counting, cueing, organizing choreography, and planning playlists ahead of class time. This is a part-time position paid on an hourly basis. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school.
Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), except for summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term.
Enrollment shall include:
The period between two successive terms for which the student is enrolled.
The one off term in each academic year in which the student is not enrolled. Student employee status may be retained for one additional term following either graduation or withdrawal from enrollment.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Hold a primary group fitness certification from a nationally accredited organization. If teaching a speciality format (e.g. Zumba, Cycle, Barre, Pilates, etc.,), hold a current certificate in that format. You must upload a copy of your certification to the "Additional Documents" section of the application.
Hold a CPR certification or have the ability to obtain one in the first 3 months of hire.

Compensation and Benefits
As a UC student employee of an Ohio public institution, you will not contribute to the federal Social Security system, other than contributions to Medicare.
