Group Fitness Instructor

About the Opportunity
We are a private, member-based fitness and wellness facility located in the Menlo Park area, offering a high-quality experience in a professional and welcoming environment. We are seeking an energetic and experienced Group Fitness Instructor with a strong dance background to lead engaging and dynamic classes for our members.
This is an ideal opportunity for an instructor who brings creativity, musicality, and the ability to connect with a wide range of participants in a boutique-style setting.
What You’ll Do
- Lead high-energy, dance-based group fitness classes (e.g., cardio dance, hip hop, dance conditioning)
- Create and deliver well-structured, safe, and engaging class formats
- Provide clear instruction, cueing, and modifications for varying fitness levels
- Foster a fun, inclusive, and motivating class environment
- Build relationships with members to encourage consistent attendance
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in Conditioning intervals, Stations/circuit formats, Safe modifications for mixed fitness levels
- Group fitness certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM, or equivalent preferred)
- Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Confident presence with excellent musicality and cueing skills
- Outgoing, reliable, and professional
Schedule
- Part-time; class-based scheduling (flexible depending on availability and demand)
Compensation
- Competitive per-class rate (based on experience)
