Inspire, motivate, and make a difference every day. Join our team as a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and lead engaging classes that help members of all ages achieve their wellness goals. We're currently looking for an energetic cardio instructor to teach Monday mornings from 8:30-9:15 a.m. for our ForeverWell (55+) community.

The salary range of this position starts at $ 16.50 hourly. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package for full-time includes a wide range of benefits (medical, dental, life, disability, and more) as well as generous paid time off and free membership. Part-time benefits will vary.
The Group Fitness Instructor instructs quality group fitness classes, provides excellent customer service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
This position reports to the Program Manager who reports to the Director of Healthy Living. The incumbent works closely with the other PT instructors, supervisor, member services, and building/maintenance staff. The incumbent should address members by name and encourage participation in activities.
