Group Fitness and Specialty Instructors wanted for opportunities in Stillwater Community Education. Fitness instructors will propose and teach group fitness classes that are innovative and current with industry trends. Examples may include but are not limited to HIIT, TRX, Step Aerobics, Yoga or Kettlebells. You will work with Community Education to schedule group fitness classes around the school calendar and catalog seasons for high school youth or adults. Group classes may be held in various school buildings. This is a casual position.
Responsibilities/Expectations
Coach, motivate and inspire members of all ages and abilities ranges
Demonstrate, observe and coach to proper form and technique
Be creative with use of available equipment and space
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor or in other related fields
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
Ability to train at all fitness levels
Certifications/Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Nationally Recognized Group Fitness Certification or relevant experience
