Greater Georgia Behavioral Health is launching Groundwork, a new Adolescent Afterschool Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) based in Fayetteville, GA. The program will support adolescents navigating mental health and co-occurring substance use concerns through structured group programming.
The Opportunity
Greater Georgia Behavioral Health is looking for a per-diem Group Facilitator to lead groups within Groundwork. This flexible, in-person role is well suited to a confident facilitator who enjoys working with adolescents and wants a schedule that fits around other commitments. Three positions are open, with a target start date of ASAP ahead of program launch.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate psychoeducation, process, and skills-based group therapy sessions in a structured clinical setting
- Engage clients effectively and manage group dynamics with skill and confidence
- Apply trauma-informed and person-centered approaches throughout all sessions
- Support clients navigating co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation following each session
- Collaborate with the broader clinical team to ensure continuity and quality of care
Requirements
What You Bring
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
- Independently licensed or license-eligible Georgia clinician strongly preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT); associate licensure (APC, LMSW, MFT-A) also considered
- CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire
- Experience facilitating group therapy in psychoeducation, process, or skills-based formats
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Minimum 1 year facilitating structured groups with adolescents or a comparable population
Preferred
- Independently licensed or license-eligible candidates ideal
- Experience with adolescents (ages 12 to 17)
- Adolescent DBT (DBT-A) skills facilitation
- CBT, trauma-focused, or family systems training
- Prior PHP/IOP group facilitation experience
- School-based programming experience
Benefits
Compensation and Schedule
Hourly, Per-Diem: $100 per group
Schedule: Up to 15 hours/week, Monday through Friday, 4:15 PM to 9:00 PM, scheduled in advance
