As a Part-Time Group Exercise Instructor, you'll lead dynamic, engaging classes for client employees at our on-site Health Center in Ridgefield, CT.

We're especially interested in instructors with experience in strength training, cycling, barre, HIIT/Tabata, or similar formats who can create energizing, inclusive workouts for a variety of fitness levels. Classes will be streamed live and offered in person, giving you the opportunity to connect with participants in multiple ways.

This role offers a flexible, low-commitment schedule with classes held on Monday at 5:30pm, Tuesdays at 12:00pm or 5:30pm, and/or Thursdays at either 12:00 PM or 5:30 PM-perfect for someone looking to supplement their schedule while making a meaningful impact on employee wellness.

What You'll Do

• Provide group exercise class instruction to our corporate fitness center participants
• Design and deliver routines for members of all ability levels and provide multi-level modifications
• Provide a memorable experience and excellent customer service to our class participants
• Create a safe exercise environment for all class participants by adhering to the site specific safety and injury prevention procedures
• Complete assigned annual compliance trainings
• May require other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Group Exercise Primary certification from nationally recognized organization (e.g. AFAA, ACE, IDEA)
• Specialty certifications as determined by class format
• Current hands on certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for community/lay responder is required
• First Aid Certification. Certification must include "hands on" evaluation of skills by the trainer/instructor
• 1-3 years of experience instructing group exercise classes
• Experience in the corporate fitness setting preferred

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for teaching fitness classes at a rate of $36.00 -$45.00 per class. Separately, Premise compensates team members $15.00 - $20.00 per hour for administrative duties. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
