The Group Build Specialist is focused on providing support to the Groups Sales and Service Teams and plays a key role in helping to provide exceptional customer service across all ALG Brands. The Group Operation Build Team is responsible for accurately executing group dashboards, group add-ons, troubleshooting systems and investigating rate discrepancies. The Specialist will work closely and align with their team lead and manager to seek out system efficiencies and possibilities for enhancement.

Essential Functions:

• Building and Testing of Group Dashboards, which includes testing contracted group inventory in the system, testing price components for contracted groups, testing net rates, retail rates, and mark ups.
• Ensuring new groups are documented correctly for tracking within Salesforce
• Responding to inquiries with excellence and aiming for same day communication to customers and colleagues
• Pro-actively collaborate with leaders and team members to ensure dashboards and service requests are completed within 24-42hrs.
• Completing dashboard maintenance by updating group inventory and pricing as necessary and cancelling inventory in a timely manner once communicated by sales and service teams
• Troubleshooting pricing discrepancies and booking errors
• Attending training sessions to build or maintain product knowledge and be flexible in supporting different projects
• Consistently look for ways to further streamline or improve processes

Qualifications

Experience:

• Knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Office and other office procedures and terminology, pproficient in both Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes assessment of customer needs, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Strong ability to efficiently navigate through various computer screens and programs
• Salesforce and DocuSign experience a plus
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships both internally and externally
• Demonstrate the ability to excel in an environment that is both backstage and front stage and have a passion for a high-level of customer service. Must be able to multi-task and stay organized
• Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to drive results and promote a team-oriented environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to strongly communicate and solve problems over the phone
• Demonstrate commitment to the use of methods and procedures to standardize and streamline operations, identify, and implement cost-savings and process improvements

Education:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience

The pay range for this position is an hourly rate of $19.00 to $23.00. This position is also eligible to earn overtime, shift differentials under certain circumstances.

The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
