Momentum Tree Experts is a year round tree care company in Novi, Michigan. We truly love our jobs, trees, and this industry! We are interested in growing our team by hiring an additional groundsman for our crew. We provide various tree care services such as high quality pruning work, technical removals, and cabling and bracing. We strive to pursue excellence in all that we do from our tree work, to our thorough job-site clean-ups, to our personal lives. Applicants must bring a team mindset. Training will be provided and there are opportunities to grow within the company.

Groundsman Position Overview:
- Assist with job site set ups, getting gear out of trucks.
- Work alongside the rest of the crew during the job and help process material efficiently.
- Lifting, carrying, and/or dragging heavy materials at a good pace when necessary without getting hurt
- Running backpack blowers, rakes, shovels, saws, loaders, trailers, chippers, and dump trucks, as needed and other similar activities on a daily basis.
- Operate and maintain all equipment safely, while wearing proper PPE.
- Assist with driving, parking, backing up, and emptying of trailers and trucks.
- Assist with job site clean ups.
Momentum Tree Experts Employment Details:
- Position is paid hourly starting at $22.50/hour.
- Position is paid hourly depending on experience.
- Full time year round tree care.
- Schedule is Monday through Friday. We rarely work weekends.
- Occasional travel to conferences, trade shows, and/or training events.
- Demonstrate ANSI industry safety standards and procedures.
- Learn, understand and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies.
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Willingness to further knowledge and grow within the company.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
