    At Bluestone, Groundskeepers are responsible for upholding our high standards of clean and inviting grounds at our luxury properties. This entails debris and trash removal, landscaping, pool checks and maintaining clear walkways and common areas.
     
    Groundskeepers Primary Duties:
     
    Waste/Trash Management
    • Empty, clean and maintain all trash compactors, chutes and cans.
    • Empty smoker’s outposts and dog waste stations.
    • Pick up trash and debris around property and dumpsters.
    • Personal Protective Equipment is provided.
    Gounds/Property Maintenance
    • Landscaping to include spring and fall cleanups, mulching, landscape detailing and replanting as necessary.
    • Maintain clean sidewalks and entrances; clear of mulch, rocks, snow and ice.
    • Water flowers and pull weeds.
    • Clean grills.
    • Open and close pools and perform pool chemical checks.
    • Clean and repair outdoor furniture.
    • Routine apartment filter changes.
    • Maintain compliance with all company and OSHA safety policies, practices, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
    • Be available to work overtime hours, as required
     
    Education/Experience Requirements:
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience. 
     
    Competencies:
    • Ability to work autonomously and to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision.
    • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to tolerate moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
    • Ability to work above ground level where the possibility of falling exists (i.e., on ladders etc.).
    • Positively interact and effectively communicate with coworkers and residents.
