The School District of New Berlin is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain a safe, clean and high-quality environment for our students, staff and the community.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain landscaping, remove snow and ice from sidewalks and school grounds, and perform regular inspections of playground equipment.

• Ensure property is well-maintained through cleaning, painting, replacing flooring, and repairing furniture or equipment.

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical components (ballasts, switches, and outlets).

• Lead the set-up and take-down for special events, graduations, and sporting activities.

• Test and chemically treat the swimming pool as needed; manage the district's recycling and refuse programs.

• Provide direction to part-time or third-party custodial staff and maintain an inventory of tools and supplies.
