Groundskeeper/Maintenance Technician

Northwood RV Resort, a Zeman Homes RV Resorts, is looking for a part-time seasonal Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician. This position performs routine groundskeeping and preventative maintenance work needed to maintain the community.

This is a full-time seasonal position that will work about 40 hours per week.  This position works weekends. This assignment is expected to end by mid-October.

Essential Job Duties

• Performances groundskeeping duties such as removing weeds, raking leaves, planting flowers/shrubs, and performs other lawn care services as necessary.
• Ensures community is presentable, inviting and meets standards.
• Cleans and maintains community buildings and maintenance garage. Maintains vacant sites.
• Performs general maintenance/handy man duties around the property.

Requirements

• Previous grounds and maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
• Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Availability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours while on-call.
