Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, and pruning saws.
• Mow and edge lawns using power mowers or edgers.
• Clear sidewalks and stoops of snow and ice using brooms, shovels, snow blowers, or other equipment; apply salt or deicer; plow snow from driveways.
• Maintain established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, dethatching, and trimming around flower beds, walkways, and walls.
• Plant grass seed, straw, trees, and shrubs.
• Water flowers and shrubs
• Use hand tools including shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge trimmers, and axes.
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
• Maintain and repair tools, equipment, and structures such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, and benches using hand or power tools.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides using hand or automatic sprayers and spreaders.
• Maintain sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other outdoor features.
• Clear wooded areas by cutting down trees and relocating wood to extra lot.
• Conduct regular property inspections using a utility vehicle (Gator); repair fences, fill holes, and remove trash, debris, limbs, and pet waste from grounds, breezeways, dumpster areas, and walkways.
• Assist with make-ready duties as requested. Hang pictures, shelves, and signage.
• Clean windows and maintain lighting fixtures.
• Maintain outdoor pool.
• Set up and take down Christmas trees and decorations at all dealership locations and residences.
• Provide basic pet care including vacuuming bedding, brushing, feeding, bathing, and waste removal.
• Clean garages and wash vehicles.
• Clean and maintain outdoor lighting fixtures.

Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field.

Knowledge of basic landscaping tools and equipment operation.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of appearance.

Reliability and a strong work ethic.

Valid driver's license
