Grounds Technician II

As a Grounds Maintenance Technician, youll help maintain the appearance and safety of our hospital campuses year-round. From caring for landscaped areas and maintaining parking lots to snow removal and equipment operation, your work plays an important role in supporting exceptional patient care.

What Youll Do

• Maintain hospital grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, driveways, and landscaped areas.
• Plant, prune, trim, fertilize, and care for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping.
• Operate lawn mowers, tractors, sweepers, and other grounds maintenance equipment.
• Remove snow and ice and apply ice melt to keep walkways and parking areas safe.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on grounds equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance and work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Help ensure hospital properties remain safe, clean, and inviting throughout every season.

What Youll Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of nursery, landscaping, or commercial grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid drivers license and the ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment.
