Description
This position reports to the Superintendent of Grounds.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Planting, weeding, mulching, watering, and caring for plants and shrubbery on university grounds.
Mowing
Maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation.
Trimming hedges, trees, and shrubs.
Preventing and eliminating weeds.
Maintaining university grounds by keeping them free from trash, litter, and debris. Tent setups.
Lifting/moving objects and equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds as needed.
Using hand and power tools as needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and shoveling.
