Utilizing Rent Manager Software to keep track of service tickets and projects completed on the work site. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects (50+ Pounds), digging, and standing for long periods.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Grounds Crew Member to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining the properties owned by a large property management company. Properties include mobile homes, apartments, houses, and various multifamily buildings. All locations are with a 30-mile radius of Binghamton, NY. 

Responsibilities: 

• Assist and perform year-round routine and irregular landscaping
• Mow, trim, and edge lawns using power mowers and edgers.
• Prune shrubs, trees, and hedges to enhance the aesthetic appeal.
• Collect and dispose of leaves, dirt, rubbish, and refuse from the grounds.
• Move furniture, appliances, equipment, and various construction materials.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, as well as grounds maintenance equipment/vehicles.
• Undertake duties as assigned including emergency tasks that may arise.
• Communicate with the assigned manager regarding daily tickets before a worksite.
• Utilizing Rent Manager Software to keep track of service tickets and projects completed on the work site.
• Completing a variety of service tickets that are ever-changing in a timely and professional manner.
• Call and communicate with the assigned manager to complete tickets, walk through problems, and develop creative, long-term solutions.
• Any other task or project assigned by the assigned manager. 

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience as a Groundskeeper, Landscaper, or other position is preferred
• High school diploma/GED is preferred
• Familiarity with landscaping equipment and machinery
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects (50+ Pounds), digging, and standing for long periods
• Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
