Ground Software Engineering Intern - Summer 2027

All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.

Qualifications:

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field Experience with NodeJS and React Experience with PythonExperience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL Understanding of Unit testing, Test-Driven Development, and mocking frameworks Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Can effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situations Fueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our world

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with AWS services (S3, dynamodb, lambda) Previous experience working on mission control software

Early-June (June 7, 2027) to late August (August 20, 2027). Start and end dates are flexible with the interns school schedule. This is an in-person internship; Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Golden, Colorado.
