As a Grocery Specialist, Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) for Alaska Commercial Company (ACC), you will play a key role in improving inventory accuracy, operational compliance, and supply chain execution across our store network. Your Responsibility:
Lead cycle count, gap scan, shrink scanning, and inventory accuracy compliance initiatives across stores.
Monitor negative on-hand inventory, inventory variances, and inventory anomalies.
Conduct inventory reviews and support stores in improving inventory performance and reducing shrink.
Ensure compliance with receiving procedures, replenishment standards, markdown programs, reclaim processes, planograms, MPVs, and newsflash execution.
Develop and maintain operational reporting, including inventory dashboards, forecasting reports, and compliance scorecards.
Analyze inventory and operational trends to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities.
Partner with Supply Chain Optimization, Operations, Logistics, Merchandising, and Finance teams.
Train and coach store teams on inventory management and operational processes.
Conduct store visits to validate execution and identify opportunities for improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years' related experience and/ or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong customer service skills and customer driven
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
Experience with inventory management, replenishment systems, and operational processes
Strong knowledge of grocery retail operations and inventory control principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and great communication skills
Ability to work with confidential information
Highly self-motivated with a passion to bring our communities products and services to live better
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Ability to travel to stores 120 days out of the year (every other week)
Ability to work some weekends/holidays
Ability to lift 50-70lbs. consistently
