We’re looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead the Grocery Foods category and drive sales, profitability, assortment, pricing, promotions, and supplier strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Own category strategy, assortment, sales, margins, and P&L performance.
- Manage multiple Grocery Food categories and a diverse portfolio of SKUs, making data-driven assortment and purchasing decisions.
- Analyze SKU performance, identify opportunities, and optimize the product mix.
- Lead vendor relationships, negotiations, promotions, pricing, and supplier partnerships.
- Partner with Replenishment, Pricing, and Operations to optimize inventory and store performance.
- Manage and develop a Category Assistant.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of retail, grocery, purchasing, or category management experience.
- Required: Experience managing multiple Grocery Food categories and a broad range of SKUs.
- Proven experience with assortment, SKU management, P&L, pricing, promotions, and vendor negotiations.
- Strong analytical, strategic, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
