Grind/Wash LaborerMitchell, IN LocationReports to:  Weld Supervisor Department:  Grind/WashFLSA Status:  Non-ExemptEEO Classification:  Laborer The position is a Full-time, First shift position (M-F 5:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.).  If OT is required, your end time would be 3:30 (M-Th.) no OT on Fridays.  If Saturday OT is required, the hours would be 5:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.  The starting pay is $15/hour.  You will have 30, 60, 90-day evaluations at which time you'll have an opportunity to earn more money.  Primary PurposeA Grid/Wash Laborer is responsible for grinding rough areas on steel racks with an electric hand grinder and washing steel racks to prepare them for paint.Essential Duties

1. Operate an electric hand grinder 8 hours (at a minimum) 8 hours a day/5 days a week. 
2. Operate a power washer 8 hours (at a minimum) 8 hours a day/5 days a week. 
3. Frequently lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 pounds individually, 60 lbs.+ with a team lift, operate a power washer, operate a hand grinder.
4. Other duties as assigned.
