Grilling Station Chef

Austin Country Club in Austin, TX, is hiring a full-time Grilling Station Chef for our evening team. This job pays $21 per hour to start and comes with excellent benefits, like:

YOUR SCHEDULE

You will work evening shifts that last 7 to 8 hours. We need people who can work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The schedule is full-time and may change depending on club needs.

YOUR DAY

As a Grilling Station Chef, you will spend your day helping your team and managers make great food for our members. You will get your station ready at the start of your shift, making sure everything is clean and works right. You will cook orders quickly and carefully, help out with events, and keep your work area safe and clean. You will talk with your manager if any problems come up and help out wherever you are needed. Each day, you will learn more about food and work with your team to make sure everyone has a good experience. You will go to meetings or training sessions as needed and handle any other tasks your manager asks you to do.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of grill station experience with steak cooking
• Experience working multiple stations in the kitchen, temping meat, and understanding grilling fundamentals
• Ability to perform all basic and intermediate cooking tasks
• Organized and calm demeanor
• Strong communication skills with members and the team
• Genuine passion for delivering excellent food and service
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs, stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
• Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
