Grill Cook – Healthcare Food Services

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Grill Cook to join a hospital food service team. The Grill Cook will prepare and cook a variety of grilled and made-to-order menu items while following recipes, portion standards, food safety procedures, and sanitation requirements.

The ideal candidate has previous commercial kitchen experience, works well in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of maintaining high standards when preparing food in a healthcare setting.

• Prepare and cook grilled, fried, and other menu items according to established recipes and production standards.
• Operate grills, ovens, fryers, and other commercial kitchen equipment safely.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain appropriate portion sizes.
• Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and quality standards.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized cooking and food preparation area.
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Properly store, label, and rotate food and ingredients.
• Replenish food items and supplies as needed.
• Assist with other food preparation and kitchen duties.
• Follow hospital and food service policies and procedures.
• Provide courteous service to patients, staff, visitors, and other customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
