About the Role:Bagel Chateau in Westfield, NJ is looking for an energetic and skilled Grill and Deli Person to join our team! Responsibilities:- Operate and manage grill station to prepare breakfast and lunch menu items to order
- Slice, prepare, and serve deli meats, cheeses, and fresh toppings
- Build and assemble bagel sandwiches, wraps, and deli orders quickly and accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift
- Restock grill and deli ingredients to ensure smooth service flow
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to fulfill customer orders
- Follow all food safety and handling guidelines at all times
Requirements:- Prior experience in a grill, deli, or short-order cook role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with deli equipment (slicers, grills, etc.)
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
- Positive attitude and a passion for great food and customer satisfaction
