Greenskeeper

The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.

Compensation: $15.50 / hour Seasonal, part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented. • Must possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course. • Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance. • Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation. • Must be dependable.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility. • Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas. • Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water. • Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary. • Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways. • Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds. • Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course. • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
