As a Green Chain Puller, youll play a hands-on role in the processing of high-quality Doug Fir dimensional lumber. Youll work closely with your team to deliver results that make a difference.
What You'll Do
As a Green Chain Puller, you will be responsible for:
Pulling lumber off the conveyor belt efficiently and carefully
Sorting lumber and clearing the chain to keep materials flowing smoothly
Ensuring each load is matched correctly by size, length, and grade
Stacking units to the proper height and width for safe handling
Helping maintain quality by placing stickers properly for drying and preparing re-saw/trim stacks into stable units
What You'll Bring

Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly with strong physical stamina
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions

Basic understanding of saw milling processes and strong teamwork

Location & Schedule:
This position is on-site in Eugene and offers weekday shifts Monday through Thursday 4:00AM to 4:00PM, with Friday 4:00AM to 3:30PM (off-shift fill-ins as needed).
