Grapple Truck Driver

Load and unload brush, logs, tree debris, construction debris, and other materials using the hydraulic grapple. Transport materials to disposal sites, recycling facilities, landfills, or designated stockpile locations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a grapple truck on public roads and construction sites.
• Load and unload brush, logs, tree debris, construction debris, and other materials using the hydraulic grapple.
• Transport materials to disposal sites, recycling facilities, landfills, or designated stockpile locations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and grapple equipment.
• Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and company safety policies.
• Secure loads properly before transport.
• Operate equipment safely around personnel, utilities, structures, and traffic.
• Assist with job site cleanup when necessary.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, fuel records, and load tickets as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules and job status.
• Keep the truck clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
• Participate in safety meetings and required training.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• CDL A license required
• Grapple Truck Experience is required
• Clean driving record/MVR
