Description

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Graphics Designer I to join a research and advisory company in Irving, TX. This is a 2-month contract to start with the potential for extensions. 


Pay:$22.00 - $24.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

This is a unique opportunity to join the BTI Studio design team and impact the client experience through creation of compelling design that supports and communicates our best practice, insight-driven content. We are looking for a self-motivated, highly creative problem solver to make information more consumable for company audiences by using design (e.g., conceptual graphics and data visualizations, layouts, and illustrations) to convey company's expert guidance and tools that enable faster, smarter decisions and stronger performance on an organization's most critical priorities.

As an Associate Graphic Design Contractor, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and other designers across the in-house design team to deliver impactful and timely products and expertly apply brand and design principles to create effective content visuals that meet strategic company goals. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and should provide strong PowerPoint presentation examples in their portfolio, as most of our design work is completed in PPT. Candidates should also have experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects on various timelines.


What you will do:
  • Review stakeholder-created content, following a checklist to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Produce high-quality, client-ready graphics, data visualizations, and layouts for projects of lower to moderate complexity.
  • Consistently apply company brand and visual design principles to all content.
  • Create intuitively consumable visuals with minimal manager support, with an expectation of growing complexity over time.
  • Partner consultatively with internal stakeholders and peers.
  • Clearly communicate design rationale and brand principles.
  • Seek and provide feedback to continuously improve design solutions.
  • Organize and prioritize assigned projects effectively.
  • Utilize specified tools (e.g., CPP, ClickUp) to track timelines and communicate project expectations.
  • Proactively inform your manager of project progress and escalate potential roadblocks or scope changes.
  • Related duties as assigned


Skills:    
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellent design sense and experience with visualizing content into appealing layouts, data visualizations, and conceptual graphics; portfolio must include presentations created in PPT
  • Possession of excellent oral and written skills, including communicating presentations to internal and external professionals at all levels
  • Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Comfortable designing in a team environment but also working independently.
  • Experience with reading, understanding, and developing visualizations from complex data.


Education:    
  • Bachelor's degree in a graphic design or closely related discipline
  • 1-3 years (post-college) experience in a graphic design role preferred
