Job detailsSalary$17/hour - $19/hourJob TypeFul-timeInternshipFull Job DescriptionGraphic Designer/Production Specialist work in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment to create and assemble sign and graphics for many different business applications. Creative work is performed within the FASTSIGNS Center that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipments.Responsibilities
- read and correctly interpret Work Orders;design signs based on VCS written instructions
- works with co-workers and customers with file transfers, FTP access, photo library options, online proofs, etc
- takes customer's logos and artworks to produce designs within the client's guidlines.
- provides proofs and sends to customers using the online proofing system
- inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to plotter or printer
- maintains accurate electronic and paper records of File storage and Disks
- creates computer-generated full-color graphics
- maintain and make sure all equipment is in good order, including computer, plotter and printer
- outputs to vinyl that can be weeded, cut, applied, or printed and mounted to various substrates
- prepares substrates for application and performs finishing operations such as laminating
Qualifations
- high school diploma or equivalent( preferred)
- graphic design: 2 years(required)
- Adobe Illustrator: 2years(required)
- positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team player mentality a must
This position is more about replicating the client's artworks than creating new art and designs. A great job for someone looking to work more on the production side than the creative side.Benefits
