Pay Range:$34.15 - $47.93 This position serves as the organization's primary visual design resource, creating high-quality patient-facing, employee-facing, and organizational communications that strengthen engagement and support SEARHC's mission.In addition to designing materials, this role serves as a steward of the SEARHC brand, ensuring visual consistency across the organization. The Graphic Designer will manage brand standards, oversee the development and maintenance of templates, organize creative assets, and provide guidance to departments across the consortium on proper brand usage.Combines strong creative abilities with systems thinking, helping build scalable design processes that empower others while maintaining a consistent and professional visual identity.SEARHC is a non-profit health consortium which serves the health interests of the residents of Southeast Alaska. Education,Certifications, and Licenses Required
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Fine Arts, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated portfolio showcasing print, digital, and brand identity work.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Experience Required
3+ years of professional graphic design experience.
Experience Preferred
Experience managing brand standards or design systems.
Experience creating enterprise-wide template libraries.
Experience with Canva Enterprise, Monday.com.
Experience working in healthcare, nonprofit, tribal, government, or mission-driven organizations.
Knowledge of
Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Knowledge of accessibility best practices for print and digital communications.
Understanding of how design supports communication, engagement, and organizational goals.
