Description
Under the direction of the assigned manager, develop and initiate complete graphic designs, layouts and finished artwork for illustrative purposes; produce graphic print materials for District use; and perform a variety of typesetting tasks in the production of various materials.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:
This is a single level specialized classification allocated only to the Publication Center. The Graphic Artist is responsible for independently developing and initiating complete graphic designs, layouts and finished artwork for illustrative purposes; and producing graphic print materials for District use.

Education:
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in graphic arts or related field.
Experience:
One year's experience of graphic art design and production with an agency, company, or organization.
