The Division of Management Services' Bureau of Compliance is excited to invite applications for an experienced Grants/Contracts Management Supervisor to lead our Contracts and Procurement Services (CAPS) team in our Boise office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. Some knowledge of supervisory practices. Typically gained by completion of a class or seminar (of more than one day) specifically covering supervisory practices or the elements of supervision; OR completion of a college-level personnel related course covering supervisory practices; OR leadwork experience that involved work assignment, direction, and monitoring of staff. (Such experience on a fill-in basis is non-qualifying unless for a period equivalent to a minimum of three months or more - they do not have to be consecutive months.)
Experience interpreting and applying laws, regulations, and policies. Typically gained by experience with at least one year experience reviewing documents or programs for compliance with laws and regulations and/or policies and procedures or explaining to others how regulations (or policies and procedures) apply to specific situations.
Experience determining needs and priorities for operational planning and funding. Typically gained by experience with at least two complete grant/contract cycles in each of the following areas: participating in a formal or informal needs assessment process, program design/planning process and negotiation of grant/contract project budgets.
Experience planning and organizing service delivery programs. Typically gained by experience with at least two complete grant/contract cycles in each of the following areas: designing/planning delivery strategies, developing technical guides and/or training materials or curriculum, and providing training and technical assistance to delivery staff for implementation.
Experience developing and administering grants or contracts including funding and evaluations. Typically gained by experience with at least two complete grant/contract cycles in each of the following areas: developing grant applications, subgrant documents, or contractual documents AND negotiation of the terms and conditions of grant applications, subgrant documents, or contractual documents.
