Job Title: Grant & Workforce Development Analyst
Location: Lynchburg, Virginia
Type: Long-term Contract
Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote
Responsibilities:
- Research federal, state, local, industry, workforce, education, and other relevant grant and funding opportunities.
- Identify opportunities aligned with business investments, workforce initiatives, training, technology, and other strategic priorities.
- Assess eligibility, requirements, deadlines, funding potential, match requirements, restrictions, and overall fit.
- Maintain a centralized pipeline of potential and active grant opportunities, including status, deadlines, owners, funding value, and next steps.
- For approved or awarded grants, document all requirements necessary to qualify for and receive funding, including milestones, eligible expenses, documentation, reporting requirements, and deadlines.
- Track progress against grant requirements and proactively flag upcoming deadlines, gaps, or risks that could impact reimbursement or funding.
- Prepare regular reporting that provides visibility to grant status, funding earned/received, outstanding requirements, upcoming deadlines, and risks.
- Maintain organized documentation and records to support grant reporting, reimbursement requests, and potential audits.
- Monitor funding sources for new opportunities or changes to existing programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years grant-related experience
