Grant Accountant
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and submit monthly grant invoices and financial reports to funding agencies.

  • Analyze grant financial activity and identify budget variances.

  • Reconcile budget-to-actual expenses and prepare variance explanations.

  • Support grant audits by providing documentation and assisting auditors.

  • Submit grant budgets, amendments, modifications, and closeout documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, agency policies, and grant funding requirements.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

  • 3+ years of nonprofit grant accounting experience.

  • Experience working with Federal, NYS, NYC, and private grants.

  • Experience preparing grant-funded invoices and financial reports.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Fund EZ.

  • Experience with Passport, Payment Management System, and SMS/OTDA preferred.
