Description

Conestoga Energy Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Scale Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the center of our grain receiving operations, ensuring grain deliveries are accurately weighed, graded, documented, and processed while providing outstanding service to our vendors and drivers.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced agricultural environment, are organized, and take pride in accuracy and customer service, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs a Scale Operator, you'll play an important role in keeping our grain operations running smoothly by:Receiving, weighing, and processing inbound and outbound grain deliveriesCollecting and testing grain samples using industry-standard equipmentGrading grain according to U.S. Grain Standards and company specificationsProcessing grain tickets and shipment documentationEntering transactions into grain management and accounting systemsCoordinating truck traffic and communicating with drivers and plant personnelMaintaining accurate grain quality records and daily reportsSupporting inventory accuracy and documentationMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environmentProviding exceptional customer service to growers, vendors, and driversQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED required. 1–3 years of grain handling, scale operations, logistics, agricultural, or related experience preferred. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to follow procedures and work independently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.PreferredPrevious grain grading or grain receiving experience.Knowledge of U.S. Grain Standards.Experience with grain accounting or scale software systems.Ethanol, agricultural processing, or grain elevator experience preferred.This is a seasonal position supporting our busy grain receiving operations. Strong performers may have the opportunity to transition into a regular full-time position based on business needs and performance.
