Title: Grain Quality Analyst
Location: Ankeny, IA, 50021

Description:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology or a closely related field with at least three years of related industry experience.
Directly applicable experience will be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
Receipt, identification, and preparation of samples – ensure incoming samples are labeled correctly, appropriate analytical have been requested, prep and analyze samples according to ISO work instructions. Ability to routinely lift items weighing 35 - 40 lbs.
Prioritization of analyses according to customer needs matched to capacity; organization and coordination of projects in a high throughput lab environment; obtaining analytical data; ensuring data integrity; functioning in multi-discipline teams and delivering laboratory results in an efficient manner.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor.
