What you'll be doing:
Process grain accounting transactionsInterpret documents from customers (invoices, statements, checks, etc.)Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisorsProcess timely advances, payments and invoices in grain accounting softwareProcess bills for paymentIdentify and resolve exceptionsMaintain status reports, files and records, which are easily accessibleHandle both internal and external customer inquiries with positive customer serviceAssist in the purchase of farm products/commodities such as - but not limited to - wheat, corn, sorghum, and/or soybeansWork on special projects under direct supervision and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Requirements to be successful in this position:
High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience with grain accounting is preferred.Proficiency in mathExperience with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
