Description

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Grafana SME (Grafana Integrator + Grafana Report Developer) for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Develop reusable dashboard templates, variables, and panel libraries.
  • Build automated Grafana reports (PDF, CSV, scheduled reports) for business and operational stakeholders.
  • Configure role-based access control (RBAC), folders, organizations, and dashboard permissions.
  • Integrate Grafana with enterprise authentication mechanisms (LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth, SAML, Azure AD).
  • Develop alerts, notification channels, and escalation workflows.
  • Create custom queries using SQL, PromQL, LogQL, and Elasticsearch Query DSL.
  • Optimize dashboard performance and data retrieval efficiency.
  • Automate Grafana deployment using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Kubernetes).
  • Troubleshoot dashboard, plugin, datasource, and performance issues.
  • Work closely with DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud, Security, and Application teams.
  • Maintain documentation, standards, and dashboard governance.
 
Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex dashboard, integration, data, and performance issues.
  • Ability to understand business and operational requirements and translate them into effective monitoring dashboards and actionable reports.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across multiple teams, geographies, and organizational functions.
  • Strong ownership and accountability for deliverables, production issues, dashboard quality, and reporting accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • Proactive approach to identifying monitoring gaps, improving dashboard usability, and recommending automation and process improvements.
  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills, including creation of technical standards, operational procedures, and user guides.
  • Ability to conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and mentor junior team members on Grafana, dashboard development, reporting, and monitoring best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly around data accuracy, dashboard consistency, access controls, and report quality.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective communication and collaboration with distributed teams.
