General Definition of Work
The graduation instructional specialist, under moderate supervision, performs instructional programs support work with limited decision-making discretion supporting system-wide dropout prevention and collaborating to develop a comprehensive dropout prevention strategy. The position serves as the NC DPI dropout coordinator and assists schools with dropout data collection annually, including the Graduation Data Verification Report (GDVR). Employee performs school-based and district-level work to carry out Board of Education policies and procedures as an expert instructional specialist under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of School Performance.

The normal place of work is on the premises used by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Charlotte- Mecklenburg Schools reserves the right to require you to work at such other place(s) as it may reasonably require from time to time.
