Position Information

Minot State University is seeking candidates for a position of Graduate Assistant Coach for Mens Soccer Club. Minot State University is a proud member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The position will have assignments in a wide variety of areas based on the needs of the team and the Head Coach. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to athletic and academic excellence and uphold the values and mission of Minot State University and its athletics department.

Primary Responsibilities: • Assist in the coach in: planning, organize, and conduct practices and competitions for mens soccer program. • Promote a culture of compliance with NCAA, NSIC, and institutional rules and policies. • Assist in team travel & scheduling • Maintain the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and student-athlete welfare. • Represent the soccer and Minot State University in a positive and professional manner in the community and at university events.

Benefits: A stipend and tuition waiver in the amount of 18 credit hours is provided for the academic year. The tuition waiver can be applied to Fall, Spring, and Summer I semesters.
