    Position Description:

    The Graduate Research Fellow will support the Atacama Desert Project, an interdisciplinary research initiative examining water, infrastructure, extractive landscapes, and human settlements in Chile's Atacama Desert. Applicants should have experience with GIS, Rhino, and Adobe Illustrator, as well as strong skills in architectural and territorial representation; familiarity with Adobe InDesign is desirable.

    Expected Duties:

    The fellow will assist in developing a coordinated visual and spatial database for the project. Duties will include collecting, organizing, and processing geospatial information in GIS; producing multi-scalar maps of hydrological systems, topography, infrastructure, mining landscapes, settlements, environmental conditions, and territorial change; and constructing selected three-dimensional territorial models and sections in Rhino.
