Job Description: The Department of Psychology invites applications for the position of Graduate Program Director and Associate Professor of Practice to begin in August 2026. This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track position with a renewable multi-year contract.
This new hire will work with the current interim co-directors to prepare for the launch of a newly established Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling program in August 2026. Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the current interim co-directors to prepare for the launch of the Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling program • Develop and implement the programs curriculum and policies • Provide academic and administrative leadership to the program • Foster relationships with local mental health organizations and communities • Teach courses in the program as needed • Supervise and mentor students • Participate in departmental and university service
