Graduate Coordinator - Visual & Performing Arts
Job Description:
The Graduate Coordinator for Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) support the department''s marketing, communications, and visual identity while assisting with the technical needs of the Horning Theatre and art studios. This position plays a key role in promoting the department''s programs, performances, exhibitions, and special events to current and prospective students, alumni, donors, and the broader community.
Working closely with the Chair of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts, the Graphic Design program, the Technical Director of the Horning Theatre, ensemble directors, student employees, and department administrative assistant, the Graduate Coordinator will coordinate the promotion, documentation, and archival of departmental activities. These include concerts, recitals, theatrical productions, guest artist performances, gallery exhibitions, lectures, and other special events.
The Graduate Coordinator will utilize existing communication platforms-including the university website and departmental social media channels-and help identify new and innovative ways to expand the department''s visibility and effectively share the work of the VPA community.
