The Graduate Assistant Tennis Coach supports the head coach in all aspects of managing a collegiate tennis program. This role combines coaching, administrative responsibilities, driving, racquet stringing, and mentorship of student-athletes while allowing the individual to pursue graduate studies. Expected Date of Employment: 8/1/2026 to 5/31/2027

Minimum Qualifications: Christian Commitment: The candidate must have and be able to articulate a personal faith in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and support the mission of King University.

Preferred Qualifications: CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor student-athletes NCAA required learning courses Valid US drivers license

Responsibilities: Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices, training sessions, and match preparation Provide technical instruction and skill development for student-athletes Support strength, conditioning, and injury prevention programs Analyze player performance and contribute to match strategy Assist with recruiting efforts, including scouting and communication with prospective student-athletes Help organize team travel, scheduling, and logistics Monitor academic progress and promote student-athlete success Ensure compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations Assist with camps, clinics, and community engagement activities Perform administrative duties such as record-keeping, equipment management, and correspondence Assist in tennis racquet stringing Assist in transportation such as driving vans when needed.

Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English required

Hours: Expected Schedule of Employment Monday through Sunday - Flexible Number of Hours per week
